What is YSMOTY?

YSMOTY is open to anyone under 24 (as at 31 December 2023), and unlike Street Machine of the Year proper, there is no requirement to have had a Street Machine feature.

Any genre of car is fair game – drift cars, mini-trucks, burnout cars, Time Attack weapons, JDM hotties, customs, hot rods, 4x4s, restos and street machines are all welcome.

In fact, last year’s winner was Max Edwards’s twin-turbo, VIP-style Toyota Majesta.

The winner will receive $2500 cash prize and there’ll also be a $2500 cash prize for a lucky voter. The winning car will also be featured in Street Machine!

Our vision is that Milwaukee Young Street Machine of the Year will appeal to the widest possible group of young people and help ensure that our sport has a healthy future for decades to come.
