THE November issue of Street Machine has dropped, and it’s an absolute cracker! It’s packed with top-shelf feature cars, killer tech yarns and coverage from Red CentreNATS, Bonneville and the Mildura Nostalgia Drags.

Ford XY FalconLeading the charge is Bobi Mircevski’s sinister-looking XY Falcon. Packing a mental Dandy-assembled, turbocharged Windsor, it reels off easy seven-second passes and prowls Melbourne’s mean streets like it ain’t no thing.

Ford XM FalconMat Salvador’s stunning XM Falcon was one of our favourite cars from MotorEx 2018, and we’re thrilled to have it feature in our November issue. It’s a beautifully styled cruiser with a tough Windsor and outstanding attention-to-detail from the team at Elite Street Classics.

Holden LX ToranaJason Sandner’s Torana is an 80s-inspired pro tourer with a modern twist, powered by a staunch small-block Chev and detailed to the hilt.

Holden HK uteSpeaking of pro tourers, Daryl O’Sullivan’s HK ute is still a work in progress, but it’s already shaping up to be a gamechanger. It’s been re-engineered from the ground up and fitted with an LSX376 crate engine with ITB injection. Check it out in the raw!

Holden Sandman uteA beautifully built but somewhat controversial starter in the new issue is Chris Dicker’s Sandbarra Holden ute. Re-powered with – yep, you guessed it – a turbocharged Ford Barra engine, it’s a great example of a well-thought-out theme, executed to perfection.

vg pacerFor the Mopar enthusiasts, we also take a look at a VG Pacer that was dug out of the desert and brought back to life. Alice Springs David Rawnsley embarked on an unconventional yet very meticulous restoration, and the finished product took Red CentreNATS by storm.

MorrisAnd we’ve even got a Morris! Though this one is packing a lot more heat than when it first spluttered down the production line.

Speaking of which, we have our full coverage of that event in the mag too.

nostalgia dragsWe also check out the Nostalgia Drags from Mildura.

salt dragsAnd all the epic action from Speed Week on the Bonneville salt flats.

Holden engineFor the technically minded, we delve into the blown Holden six-cylinder that powers Matt Watts’s BLO202 LJ Torana, and have Chad Atkinson from Silver Aces Custom Metal Fabrication talk us through some bodywork basics.

Jeff PYeWe also catch up with Jeff Pye from J&J Fuel injection after 30 years and discover he is still doing really cool stuff with EFI, Holden motors and much more. Read about all this and more in the November issue of Street Machine!
