On this week’s instalment MOTOR Associate Editor Scott Newman is joined by Wheels Deputy Editor Andy Enright and Staff Journalist Cameron Kirby top discuss some hot topics from the automotive week.

To begin with, there’s the dramatic increase in Victoria’s road toll (1:06), which suggests the road safety messages are falling on deaf ears. Talk then turns to racing cars and how they differ behind the wheel from their road-going counterparts (13:55) – is there any such thing as a road-going race car?

Labor has a plan to revive Australian manufacturing, but it seems to have gotten its sums mixed up (23:05) and Cam and Andy reveal their worst car-buying decisions (29:40), including when Andy bought an absolute dog at auction.
