About the Nissan Pathfinder
The Nissan Pathfinder has been resurrected for 2022 after it had previously been discontinued in local markets. Four variants of the SUV are expected in showrooms from late 2022: ST, ST-L, Ti and the premium Ti-L.
All models are eight-seaters in a 2-3-3 configuration, except the limo-like Ti-L that has seven seats in a 2-2-3 layout – consisting of slide, recline and fold-down captain's chairs in the second row.
A 202kW/340Nm 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine mated to an all-new 9-speed automatic transmission powers all vehicles in the line-up. ST and Ti models are 2WD, while the ST-L and Ti-L are equipped with an Intelligent 4x4 system that includes seven drive and terrain modes.
With a maximum towing capacity of 2700kg boosts its credentials as a family getaway vehicle.
A perennial rival for the Nissan Pathfinder is Toyota’s Prado.
