THE second Cruising Nationals is on this weekend, in the southern NSW heritage town of Deniliquin. The concept of the Nationals is for hundreds of cool cars to take over the joint, along with plenty of bands, markets and a great party atmosphere. There’ll be a whole bunch of high-horsepower fun, with eighth-mile drag racing, a burnout comp, go-to-whoa and dirt drags.

On Saturday night, there will be a cruise route set up in town for the entrants to strut their stuff.

The event climaxes on the Sunday with a big show ’n’ shine at Waring Gardens, where the Cruising Nationals Raffle will be drawn. First prize is a blown 2010 Roush Mustang, with a custom 2015 Harley Sportster 48 as second prize. You can grab an entry at thecruisingnationals.com for just five bucks.
