DAY TWO of Drag Challenge was held at Mildura’s eighth-mile Sunset Strip track. It is an excellent venue, but the weather really turned up the heat on the entrants.

The scorching temps, road miles and racing took it’s toll on a number of competitors, including Scott Forrester’s GeminiThe little weapon actually held the fastest pass of the day early on, but mechanical gremlins put it out of contention. We chat with Scott about why he chose the path less-travelled with this engine combo and why he came to Drag Challenge.

Harry Haig and his crew had a long night with transmission problems and were doing it tough in the heat.
