IT is that magical time of year – Street Machine Drag Challenge entries are open!

The event runs from 11-16 November, starting at Calder Park Raceway. We then head to Swan Hill, Mildura, back to Swan Hill and finish up back at Calder.

Entries are $500 for the week which includes entry for as many crew members as you can fit in the car. If one or more of your crew wants to drive, that will set them back $150 each. This year, there will be no refunds if you enter and cannot make it – though you can roll your entry over until next year – one time only. And we reserve the right to refuse any entry – in case you are thinking of entering a 18-second Camry. 

There is a ton of info about the event here, but essentially you’ll need a genuine street car that can do around 1500km under its own steam in between tracks. Expect bumpy roads, crazy weather and steep hills. Trailer queens should stay at home! And you’ll need to do it without a support vehicle. 

It is a demanding week, but it is also one of the most fun and rewarding things you can do with your car. Sound good? Enter your car here and we’ll see you at Calder Park.
