DAY 2 of Hot Rod Drag Week at Lucas Oil Raceway, Indianapolis has been run and won.

The outright record continues to tumble at the hands of Tom Bailey, pulling a 6.70-second pass at 213mph in his 615ci turbocharged, Pro Mod Camaro – essentially a Top Doorslammer capable of big road miles!

West Aussie John Faraone came out and ran an 8.98-sec time first up. A fresh set of plugs later, it then powered to an impressive 8.47-secs at 161mph. And the good news is that new valves await the Aussie Attack boys ahead of Day three at Gateway Motorsport Park in Collinsville, with the Torana is hanging in there nicely in the meantime.
