THE biggest weekend in the Chrysler-loving community is ready to take off, 21 July at Willowbank Raceway.That’s right – Mopar Sunday is back, bigger than ever!

The event is a favourite of ours, because it combines all the stuff we love in one place – drag racing, track cruising, a dyno comp, swap meet, show ‘n’ shine and some great traders.

With the title of Mopar Madman up for grabs, there is always plenty of spectacular action on the drag strip, with wheelstands and Victor Bray-style burnouts par for the course.

There will also be more than a few Street Machine Drag Challenge Weekend cars in attendance, including Malcom McIntosh’s Safari wagon and Pat Lawler’s cheeky LS-powered AP6.

And if your taste is more towards the modern Mopar, there will be a squad of Hellcat-powered Challengers and Chargers in attendance, including two Dodge Demons!

The show and shine will also be a cracker, headed up by the Rides by Kam ’70 Dodge Challenger. The car cleaned up at Street Machine Summernats 32 and this will be its last appearance on Aussie soil before it heads the Stateside for SEMA.
