THE November issue of Street Machine is out next week, and inside is our coverage of Red CentreNATS. As is often the case, we have way more awesome photos from the event than we could possibly hope to fit in the mag, so here are some of our favourites for your viewing pleasure.

Holden wagon TUFFSTOne of the great joys of Red CentreNATS is seeing truly mental cars like Phil Kerjean’s TUFFST wagon cruising the streets with impunity.

Holden HQPaul Maksimovic’s HQ Holden caught the fancy of the NT Chief Minister Michael Gunner, who gave it the Chief Minster’s Choice award. Nice!

Mazda 1000Troy Dunning’s Mazda 1000 is a stunner and placed third in the Competition class in the street judging.

International tow truckPaul Connolly’s 1947 International tow-truck is a cracker, and won Top Exhibition and a spot in the Street Top 10.

1940 chev pickupMark Harris’s ’40 Chev pick-up is a bad-arse car and sounded monstrously tough in the Grand Champ driving events. Mark nailed a spot in the Elite Top 10.

1955 ChevIt was great to see Dubbo’s Bill Sharkey give his stunning ’55 Chev a hiding in the Grand Champion events.

Holden HZ uteLeon’s HZ Holden ute is a killer home-brewed show-and-go machine, powered by a gassed 632ci big-block Chev.

Ford CortinaLuke Matthews won the Pro class at the drags in his tough ’66 Ford Cortina.

Holden FXJohn Curwen-Walker took out the Grand Champion gong in his famous FX Holden at the first-ever Red CentreNATS – and he gave the title another red-hot crack this year.

Ford XE Falcon vanGrahame Rowe’s GAMBLE XE Falcon van is a stunner and always puts on a killer show.

1973 BarracudaWe can’t get enough of Al James’s ’73 ’Cuda, so we’ve got a feature coming in the December issue.

XR FalconGremlins stopped Grant Connor from really showing off the potential of his Street Machine Summernats Grand Champion-winning XR Falcon. Even so, Grant won Top Paint and a spot in the Top 10 Elite.

Toyota CelicaSean Basford did one of his best-ever burnouts in his SKIDRAGIN Celica – and had a ball cruising around town as well.
