HUNDREDS of cars and thousands of spectators headed to the third annual Bathurst Valvoline Autofest to get their fill of tyre-popping, methanol burning action at Australia’s most famous race track.

Bathurst Autofest may be one of the newest events in the Autofest series, but it’s quickly becoming the most popular, with entrants and spectators loving a chance to run amok at the mountain.

Events included super sprints on the main straight, and the ever popular burnout competition behind the main pit garages, with Adrian Cuthbertson’s supercharged V8 Sigma winning the top burnout prize. If you’re looking for some high-octane action during Victoria’s Labour Day weekend next year, we highly recommend checking it out. It’s a blast!
