IF you ever want to jump down an awesome YouTube rabbit hole, look up the old Cinesound and other cool films made about the epic Round Australia Trials in the 1950s and 1960s. 

They are really good fun and you have to marvel at the endurance of not only the drivers, but also the film crews. You can check out a great example starring Gelignite Jack Murray here.
