THE last day of Street Machine Summernats 29 has been run and won. John Saad took out Summernats Grand Champion with his four-door 13B rotary-powered Mazda RX-3. As for the Burnout Masters, it was Andrew Pool in IBLOWN in first place with last year’s champ Brett Battersby in BLWNLUX in second and Jake Myers came third with the SICKO Mustang. It’ll come as no surprise to anyone that Jake Edwards won Horsepower Heroes in his turbo big-block Torana. Though he didn’t quite make the 2000-plus horsepower we were expecting, but 1783hp was plenty to seal the deal once again.
Check out the video to see highlights from the day, some big burnout fires, Jake’s Torana on the dyno and more mayhem.
