IT’S been an interesting day here at Calder Park for day one of Street Machine Drag Challenge! We’ve already seen some seriously quick times from some of the big contenders. With the track prepped for Jamboree, cars were hooking up beautifully.Terry Seng is leading the pack in his VC Commodore, with a best of 7.8-seconds Adam Rogash isn’t far behind in this NOWSHOW Clubsport and getting quicker.

Harry Haig only did a few runs in his newly-painted HQ and had traction issues that prevented him from cracking an eight. Current Drag Challenge champ Quentin Feast in the pink LX Torana only made one pass for the day – a very quick eight-second quarter – and has spent the rest of the day swapping out his transmission! Noel Inman in the tall T Model is the first car to drop out, lunching an engine in his crazy hot rod. Stay tuned for more!
