WE were at South Coast Raceway in Portland for day two of Street Machine Drag Challenge yesterday. The first round of eighth mile drags threw up some interesting results with the big hitters running deep into the five-second range.

The big news of the day however, was Louis Younis melting a piston in his LJ Torana. He couldn’t get the engine fixed, so he bought a second-hand small-block off Gumtree and had it in ready for Day Three. Check out the video for Scotty’s full debrief from the day.
