THE inaugural VPW Drag Challenge is underway. In the spirit of Hot Rod Drag Week, competitors are travelling between four tracks under their own power and with no support vehicles. The event kicked off at Sydney Dragway on Wednesday, followed by a Street Outlaws-style shootout at the Motorsports Training Australia facility in Albury-Wodonga.
Today, after a breakfast at VPW Australia, the competitors will converge on Calder Park Raceway, before the event winds up tomorrow at the Street Machine Streetcar Shootout at Heathcote Park. We have racers from Cairns, Toowoomba, Sydney, Canberra, and from all over Victoria, so come out to the tracks to see them in action.

Street Machine is the bible of Aussie modified auto culture, celebrating wild muscle cars, customs and hot rods – and the incredible humans who create them.
