THE Perth Speed Fest is on this Sunday at the Perth Motorplex where Aussie Formula 1 driver and Perth boy Daniel Ricciardo will be making an appearance and putting on a show in his RedBull F1 car! There’s also a motor show, drift event, dirt bikes and buggies, rally cars and much more. Adult tickets are on sale from $99 with kids from $65.

Slammed Chev C10 Pick UpFast Lane Speed Shop in Ballarat, Victoria, is opening its doors to the public this Saturday for an Open Day event. There’ll be cool cars on display, $5 raffles and face painting for the kids, with all proceeds going to help friends of the shop who are experiencing health issues. It’s a gold coin donation to get into the event and it all starts at 10am.

HSV VT Wagon Drag CarAlso in Ballarat, there is a Cars ’n’ Coffee event on Sunday morning, open to all makes and models. With Christmas just weeks away, bring the kids along and celebrate with Santa who will be giving away treats! The first 50 cars to arrive at the Sovereign Hill car park on Bradshaw Street will get a free coffee.

Up in Queensland there is a test and tune session at Willowbank Raceway on Saturday from 4pm. It’ll cost you $45 to race, $20 to bring a passenger and $20 to spectate.

HR HoldenAs always, Saturday Night Live is on at the inbound Eastlink BP service centre in Melbourne this Saturday night. There are always loads of tough street cars that rock up, and now that we’re in the warmer months the event is bigger than ever! The action kicks off from 5pm and runs until late.

Nitro Funny CarSydney Dragway is hosting the Aeroflow Triple Challenge this Saturday, which includes Outlaw Nitro Funny Car drags, burnouts and drifting! With over 100 cars competing, it promises to be a great day of entertainment for the whole family. Adult entry is $30, kids $20 and a family ticket (two adults and three kids) costs $90.

Nitro Funny Car 2Car Lovers is holding an event this Sunday at Seven Hills, NSW, which will include cars, live music, a barbeque and, most importantly, wood-fired pizza from 10am. For more details and to register your car for the event, click here.

WEB Greazefest 4Also in NSW is a charity show ’n’ shine to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation at the Newcastle Kart Racing Club on Sunday. The event is open to all hot rods, show cars and motorbikes, with a $10 entry fee. There will be lots of trophies and raffles throughout the event so get along and support a good cause!

Another good fundraiser is being held by the Street Machine Association South Australia to raise money for those affected by the recent bushfires in Adelaide. Get down to the Point Malcolm Reserve on Sunday morning for a show n shine, sausage sizzle and raffle. Entry is a gold coin donation.
