“IN 2015 I was on the hunt for a project car. After looking at a few I came across this Holden One Tonner that seemed to be a solid starting point – up until we started pulling it apart and found rust from top to bottom.

In 2016 I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, which put the project on hold. That was when The Starlight Foundation stepped in. They granted me the wish of having my One Tonner restored, and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.

It’s running a 304 with a 286 cam, 10:1 compression, Turbo 400 with a 2800rpm stall and BorgWarner diff.

I would like to say a massive thanks to The Starlight Foundation for everything they have done, my family for their support, Peggy, Joey, Josh, Glenn, Lawrie, and everyone who donated their time.”
