SINCE 2008, the Chopped Rod & Custom show in Newstead Victoria has flown the flag for traditional rods, customs and motorbikes in Australia. The idea of running a show purely for pre-1965 vehicles with period-style modifications was audacious, but it was enthusiastically taken up by those who understand and respect the heritage of our sport.

Dirt drags and vintage speedway was soon added to the mix and the event exploded into a phenomenon. Each year, outrageously cool cars and bikes are built specifically for Chopped and it now attracts spectators from all over the world.
