THE guys at Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers are having another massive classic and collectables car auction this weekend, and as always the cars up for grabs are top notch! The auction is on this Saturday at midday and remember – you can register online and bid from the comfort of your own living room, or anywhere else that takes your fancy. Let’s have a look at the stock.

The car that caught my attention most was this HK Premier wagon. Why, you ask? It’s a 307 Chev/Powerglide car, and there can’t be many of those around in the wagon body style. It’s immaculate, having travelled just 43,793 miles. The only caveat is that it doesn’t have the original motor and trans.

This genuine four-speed ’69 HT GTS 350 Bathurst Monaro is expected to fetch big dollars. It has been restored and lightly modified over its life with fresh paint and a few engine mods, though it comes with all of the original parts to return it back to original. It has travelled a tickle over 95,000km, and the current bid is $103,000.

There’s plenty of other cool stuff up for grabs including a VL SS Group A, a ’72 LS Monaro, a couple of Falcon hardtops including an XC Cobra, a supercharged LS-powered Cobra replica, and more Mustangs and Camaros than you can poke a cowboy boot at.
