MATT Purnell took out the Gazzanats Darwin powerskid comp this weekend at Hidden Valley Raceway. The event was Matt’s first time competing with his new engine combo, a blown 480-cube big-block Chev with mechanical injection built by Blown Motorsports.

The new combo was only dyno tuned a couple of hours before getting on the truck from Perth up to Darwin so the tune wasnt 100 per cent but it pulled a killer powerskid and tore up the burnout pad without breaking anything so Matt went home smiling.
