ONE of the unknown quantities facing the XBOSS team in taking Chris Bitmead’s XB Falcon to the Detroit Autorama was how the locals would react to an unfamiliar car. Suffice to say, they needn’t have worried, as the coupe attracted curious onlookers all weekend. Some were familiar with the XB from Mad Max, but to most it was a complete mystery.
