PREVIOUSLY in the Sidchrome Kombi project video series we caught up with the guys from Australian VW Performance Centre who built a killer engine for the project. The rest of the work is being done by the young people at Chisolm Institute of TAFE in Dandenong, Victoria.

In this latest episode of the Sidchome Kombi build, we’re back at Chisolm Institute of TAFE in Dandenong where the final repairs are being done to the old girl’s body. As is often the case with project cars, the team hit a road block trying to source a new engine cover which set back the project quite some time. With a ragged one found, the TAFE kids repaired it then got the killer Sidchrome Kombi ready for paint.

Soon it’ll be sprayed, slammed, and ready to give away to it’s lucky new owner. To find out how you can WIN this awesome Kombi, visit winwithsidchrome.com.au.
