VIDEO: LS7-POWERED ’69 CAMARO ROAD-TRIPPING TO MOTOREX

Graham Laity is driving his ’69 Camaro show car from Melbourne to Sydney’s MotorEx – rain, hail or shine

GRAHAM Laity’s awesome ’69 Camaro will be on display at MotorEx in Sydney this weekend, but he has to drive it there first. Despite heavy rain and big winds crossing Victoria this morning, Graham and his mate Ahron Jeffree from Rolling Art Coachworks saddled up and hit the highway. This LS7-powered stunner is no trailer queen!

The 427-cube Camaro rides on full TCI suspension, with most of the trick bits finished in polished stainless steel, while the sway-bars are chrome-plated. The rest of the underbody is painted House Of Kolor Galaxy Grey, but after a full day on the road in the middle of winter, we suspect it might be lacking its shine when the Camaro arrives in Sydney tonight.

Not to worry, Graham will spend the next couple of days scrubbing the car down and prepping it for the show, including a full underbody clean.
