TONY Webb’s LJ Torana is one of the biggest sleepers in the APSA X275 class. With grandpa-spec brown paint and a Holden V8 under the bonnet with no noticeable blower or turbo setup, this car often gets spectators wondering how it could possibly be an eight-second scorcher. The secret is the rear-mounted 82mm Borg Warner turbo which helps the engine produce around 1000hp. Tony wanted to keep the car looking stealthy and legal, hence the Holden motor and the discrete turbo setup.
