XY FALCON WITH NISSAN GT-R RUNNING GEAR

Fancy a car with the looks of an XY GT, but the grip and grunt of a Nissan GT-R?

IF YOU are in the market for a cool project car, Rod Langridge’s XY Falcon could be just the ticket. The beast has had a complete R32 GT-R floorplan grafted in, along with the GT-R’s all-wheel-drive running gear and RB26DETT engine.

Built for hillclimb competition, the engine is not currently fitted to the car, but people we trust rate the engineering on this this thing as top-notch. If nothing else, if you want a car that will stir people up and get a lot of attention, then this is it! Just look at how Huss’s GT-R-powered Walkinshaw melted the internet earlier this year.

Of course, this isn’t the first time this has been done. We featured Peter Hill’s VL Calais with a similar set-up in SM, September 1995! And there is a very cool LX Torana in the build as well.
