With over 2700 entrants, Street Machine Summernats 35 is BIG. The first official day kicked off with the City Cruise down Northbourne Avenue. The streets were lined with locals keen to check out the action.

The Last Chance Wildcard burnout comp was hectic, with Pagey putting on a spectacular display that included three tip-ins.

However, there were only three slots open for a shot at Masters glory and they went to WA’s Chris Orchard in THE OG, Billy Seton in ONTICK and Jesse Johnson in KILLAK.

The new John Peterson Burnout Hall of Fame was also announced on the pad and six pivotal figures in burnout history were inducted.

For the first time in history, the Meguiar’s Great Uncover took place on Thursday night, instead of the traditional Friday. This gives the punters two full days and three nights to ogle the latest and greatest.

Meanwhile, the annual Milwaukee Street Machine of the Year VIP party went off with a bang offsite, celebrating Max Edwards and Jazzy Green for their YSMOTY and SMOTY wins respectively.

Friday will see the Haltech Horsepower Heroes crank up, as well as burnout championship qualifying, Tough Street, the Braddon Fringe Festival and much more. Full details here.
