What is Red CentreNATS?
Red CentreNATS is one of the biggest car events in Australia, and has been rocking Alice Springs for the past six years on the Father’s Day weekend. It boasts burnouts, drag racing, a dyno comp, a show ’n’ shine, and grass and off-road driving events – not to mention cruising the streets of Alice all weekend in some of the toughest cars in Australia.
Where is Red CentreNATS held?
Red CentreNATS is held in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. The two main hubs are at Blatherskite Park and Alice Springs Inland Dragway, while cars cruise the city streets via designated routes all weekend, and both scrutineering and motorkhana events take place at Lasseters Centre of Entertainment.
When is Red CentreNATS 2020?
The sixth consecutive running of the event will take place in Alice Springs, 4-6 September 2020.
What is there to do at Red CentreNATS?
You’ll never be bored during Red CentreNATS, with enough petrol-induced action to keep you entertained for hours. Both the burnouts and drag racing take place at Alice Springs Inland Dragway, while Blatherskite Park is home to the show ’n’ shine and the grass and off-road driving events. The biggest drawcard though is the street cruising, with special permits available for cars not normally allowed on the road, so they can hit the streets with no worries all weekend. It’s the only place in Australia you’ll see a 1500hp, blown methanol burnout car legally driving on the street!

Who can enter Red CentreNATS?
Anyone can be a spectator, but if you want to enter a car in the event, you can’t just show up in a rental.
