IF you are ever on a road trip that passes through Bathurst in Central West NSW, you’ve got to make time to do a lap of the famous Mount Panorama circuit and visit the National Motor Racing Museum. It would be un-Australian not to! Our Classic Car Hunter – otherwise known as Glenn Torrens – did just that recently, so let’s check out what he found inside during his brief visit. He event got to drive Peter Brock’s 1984 Bathurst-winning Commodore! Kinda.
Wanna go? You’ll find the museum at 400 Panorama Avenue, Bathurst. It is open every day of the year bar selected public holidays, from 9.00am to 4.30pm. Give them a bell on (02) 6332 1872 to double check or visit www.nmrm.com.au for more info.
