IF YOU want to launch a new product into the modified car scene, then the GNRS provides a pretty big audience to show off what you got. Three Aussie blokes had an idea to create an art deco-inspired set of workshop cabinets and have spent the last few years designing and manufacturing the products in Melbourne so they could launch it to a worldwide market at the GNRS. We spoke to Frankie Pana, whose 426 Hemi-powered VH Charger was on the cover of SM, May ’17, so you know he doesn’t muck around when he decides to take on a project.

With original cabinets from the 30s and 40s fetching well over $20,000 fully restored, these high quality, all-steel, powder-coated units from Excelsior are a much more affordable option. It’s a fully modular system, so you can pick and choose the options that best suit your needs and budget. Judging by the response of the people stopping by the stand and also the number of people that were showing interest in distributing the Excelsior products, it looks like these three Aussies are onto a good thing.
