It has been announced today that the funeral service for Chic Henry and a celebration of his amazing life will be held at 1pm Friday on 6 May, at the Budawang Pavillion, Exhibition Park in Canberra.

Everyone is invited to attend, but an online RSVP is essential to assist the family with preparations: RSVP link.

The service will be live streamed on Facebook for those who aren’t able to attend in person.

“Chic planned this all out for us,” says Chic’s daughter Georgia Henry. “He’s even worked out a way that that he’ll get the last word [laughs].

After the service, everyone is invited to stay and make it a party.”

Guests are invited to bring their street machines and there will be parking marshalls on hand to assist.

In leiu of flowers, the family ask that guests consider making a donation to the Canberra Cancer Centre, where Chic was well cared for over the last six years. Donations can be made here.
