The fourth episode of the Turbo Taxi is almost upon us

carnage 1896

IT HAS been a busy week for Barra-powered beasts. The boys from Mighty Car Mods unveiled their wild Toyota Cresta, and we saw a trio of very different Barra-powered Falcons from the Ford Forums Drag Nationals: Josh Tuskin’s XW, Will Baddam’s E85-fuelled FG ex-taxi, and Kris Van Krieken’s ever-improving ED Falcon.

And this Friday, our Turbo Taxi will join them in the latest episode of Carnage. In the final Taxi episode (for now) Scotty hits the track for the first time, drives to Sydney for some more racing and does some budget driveline upgrades in his search for that elusive 11-second pass. And he does it all on LPG and with an engine with no internal upgrades, save for a set of valve springs.

Here is a teaser to whet your appetites – come back on Friday for the full episode! And while we’re here, a big shout out to everyone involved in the build, including Tunnel Vision Turbocharging, Haltech, Turbosmart, Speed Pro, MPW Performance & Race Fab, Plazmaman, TCE Torque Converters, Preston Automatics and Extracted Performance Exhausts.
