Geely Auto Australia has confirmed three more electrified models for local launch in 2027, including the Monjaro EM-i SUV, Emgrand L EM-i sedan and Battleship 700 off-road SUV.

The trio forms part of six new Geely models planned for Australia next year. The Monjaro EM-i and Emgrand L EM-i are due in the first half of 2027, while the Battleship 700 is scheduled to follow in the second half.

The Monjaro EM-i (below) is a five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV based on Geely’s GEA EVO platform. It combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors and a battery pack of up to 40kWh.

Geely is targeting up to 170km of WLTP electric-only range and as much as 1137km combined. Front- and all-wheel-drive versions are planned, along with 19- and 20-inch wheels.

Equipment includes continuously controlled damping, a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, 25.6-inch head-up display, surround-view camera, heated and ventilated front seats with massage, heated rear seats and Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Vehicle capability with up to 6.6kW output.

The Emgrand L EM-i will give Geely a conventional sedan in Australia for the first time. It uses a plug-in hybrid system related to the Starray EM-i, with an 18.4kWh battery, more than 80km of electric range and over 1000km of combined WLTP range. Geely quotes outputs above 180kW and 250Nm.

The most extreme of the three is the Battleship 700 (below), a five-seat off-road SUV that uses a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. Overseas versions combine a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, 47kWh battery and tri-motor all-wheel-drive system with a locking differential.

Combined output is rated at 830kW, while electric-only range is claimed at up to 170km. Ground clearance is 233mm, wading depth is 800mm and a “Waltz” U-Turn function is designed to improve manoeuvrability in tight spaces.

Inside, the Battleship 700 features 12.3- and 15.6-inch screens, rear air-conditioning, a heating and cooling compartment and a 23-speaker audio system.

Australian pricing and final specifications for all three models will be announced closer to launch.
