Powertrain

Running on the same E-GMP platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, both GV60 grades are all-wheel-drive although they deliver differing levels of performance.

The entry-level GV60 AWD harnesses a 160kW motor on its rear axle and a 74kW motor up front, providing a total system output of 234kW with 605Nm on tap.

Stepping up to the Performance AWD sees a 180kW motors mounted on the front and rear axle allow for a maximum output of up to 360kW when Boost Mode is enabled. Torque increases to 700Nm which helps it achieve a 0-100km/h time of four seconds (or 4.6 seconds when Boost Mode isn't engaged).

Both variants use the same 77.4kWh battery pack, boasting driving ranges of 470km and 466km respectively – aided by the disconnector actuator system (DAS) which can separate the motor and driveshaft depending on driving conditions, maximising range.

The GV60's 400/800-volt multi rapid charging system boosts the 400-volts supplied by the charger to 800-volts, allowing for 10 to 80 per cent charge times of 18 minutes when using a 350kW charger.
