The Paris Motor Show returns in October for its 91st edition, with manufacturers preparing a substantial collection of production cars, concepts and technology showcases.
Running from October 12 to 18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the 2026 Mondial de l’Auto comes at a particularly interesting time for the industry. Electrification remains a major theme, but manufacturers are also turning their attention towards smaller and more affordable cars as they attempt to broaden the appeal of EVs.
European manufacturers will have a strong presence, while Chinese brands continue their expansion into the region. Here are the major brands and cars expected in Paris.
Aion

Aion plans to launch eight models by the end of the decade, with two more additions set to be unveiled in Paris. The UT electric hatchback, which targets models such as the Volkswagen ID.3, and the Aion V SUV have already been revealed, but the motor show is expected to host the debut of the new GS7. The large plug-in hybrid SUV is being positioned as a potential rival to vehicles such as the Land Rover Discovery.
Details of Aion’s second Paris debut remain under wraps. However, Aion UK managing director Jon Wakefield has previously indicated that an updated or modified version of an existing model is also on the way.
Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo is preparing a mystery concept for Paris that is expected to provide clues to the Italian brand’s next generation of performance cars.
Few firm details have been disclosed, although teaser material confirms the concept will wear Alfa’s traditional red. The manufacturer has positioned the vehicle as an enthusiast-focused project rather than simply another mainstream model.
Alpine

Alpine used the 2024 Paris show to display several important projects and will return with further news about the next-generation A110.
The replacement for Alpine’s lightweight sports car is being developed as an EV, with development prototypes already having appeared publicly. Paris should provide a clearer indication of how close the electric A110 is to production.
Audi

Audi’s reborn A2 is expected to be among the more significant compact EVs appearing at the show.
Rather than directly recreating the unusual original A2, the new model is an electric hatchback related to Volkswagen’s latest ID.3 architecture. Audi has already allowed prototypes to be driven, making Paris an opportunity for the wider public to see the car.
BYD

BYD’s European expansion will be on full display in Paris, with the Chinese manufacturer also having the unusual advantage of being automotive partner to Paris Saint-Germain.
Among its most interesting newcomers is the Dolphin G, a small hybrid designed to strengthen BYD’s presence in one of Europe’s most competitive vehicle segments. The company has also been expanding at the other end of the market with vehicles including the Shark ute and large Ti7 SUV.
Changan

Chinese manufacturer Changan is a confirmed Paris exhibitor and will use the event to continue its European expansion.
Its growing international portfolio includes vehicles sold under the Deepal name, while Changan also operates Avatr and Nevo. Exactly which new models will take centre stage in Paris remains to be confirmed.
Chery

Chery is another Chinese manufacturer rapidly establishing itself in Europe.
The company will display its electrified Tiggo SUV range, while attention is also likely to fall on its smaller electric models as Chery broadens its portfolio beyond SUVs.
Citroen

Few cars are likely to attract as much attention as Citroen’s modern interpretation of the 2CV.
The famous French people’s car is being reimagined for the electric era, with affordability again central to the concept. The Paris vehicle is expected to preview a production model targeted for later this decade rather than simply serving as a nostalgic design exercise.
Cupra

Cupra will showcase the Raval, its compact electric hatchback and one of the Volkswagen Group’s new generation of affordable EVs.
The production Raval retains much of the visual attitude of the earlier concept while introducing Cupra into a smaller part of the electric-car market.
Dacia

Dacia is planning a substantial Paris display, with 10 vehicles scheduled to appear.
Among the highlights will be the Striker, an electrified C-segment family model aimed at traditional hatchbacks and wagons, plus the new-generation Spring city EV.
The latest Spring switches to newer underpinnings related to those of the Renault Twingo, representing a significant technical step beyond the outgoing model.
Denza

BYD’s premium Denza division will use Paris to demonstrate how seriously it intends to challenge established European luxury manufacturers.
Its range includes the Z9 GT shooting brake and Bao 5 off-roader, while its electric performance ambitions are represented by the extreme Z supercar.
DS

DS Automobiles will give its N°7 an international motor-show appearance as the French premium marque continues expanding its electrified range.
The mid-size SUV sits alongside the N°4 and larger N°8 in DS’s latest-generation line-up and will be one of several home-market vehicles attracting attention in Paris.
Fiat

Fiat has several important vehicles heading to Paris.
The Grizzly will expand the brand into the mid-size crossover market, with both conventional SUV and sleeker Fastback body styles planned. Hybrid and fully electric powertrains are expected.
Fiat is also developing the Multiplina, a tiny four-seat electric vehicle related mechanically to the Topolino. An additional concept is expected to provide another glimpse at Fiat’s future direction.
Ford

Ford is officially among the Paris exhibitors, although the company has yet to provide a detailed rundown of what it intends to display.
That makes its stand one of the harder ones to predict, particularly as Ford continues reshaping its European passenger-car range following the end of models including the Fiesta and Focus.
Geely

Geely Auto Group will bring several of its brands to Paris as it pushes further into international markets.
Models expected to feature include Geely’s EX2 and EX5 electric vehicles, while the larger Monjaro SUV is another potential candidate for the stand.
Honda

Honda’s compact Super-N EV is likely to be one of the Japanese manufacturer’s headline attractions.
Paris could also provide another opportunity for Honda Racing Corporation to demonstrate its growing influence over the company’s road-car strategy.
Hyundai

Hyundai plans to use Paris to outline technology stretching from next-generation battery-electric vehicles to hydrogen.
The recently revealed fifth-generation Tucson is also expected to appear, giving show visitors an early opportunity to inspect one of Hyundai’s most important global models.
JAS Motorsport

Anyone nostalgic for the original Honda NSX will have another reason to explore the show.
JAS Motorsport has developed its own interpretation of Honda’s landmark mid-engined supercar, including the unmistakable pop-up headlights associated with the original.
Kia

Kia has confirmed its return after using the previous Paris show to give the EV3 one of its first major public appearances.
The Korean manufacturer has not yet revealed its complete 2026 program, leaving the possibility of further surprises when the show opens.
Lancia

Lancia’s revival continues with the Gamma, although the famous badge returns on a very different type of vehicle.
The new Gamma adopts a crossover/SUV-style body rather than directly recreating the low-slung original and shares key architecture with other Stellantis vehicles including the Peugeot 3008.
Leapmotor

Leapmotor’s rapidly expanding European range will gain two significant additions.
The B03 is a compact electric hatchback targeting cars such as the Renault 5 and Volkswagen’s small ID models, while the D19 sits at the opposite end of the range as a large flagship SUV using range-extender technology.
Lotus

Lotus has history with the Paris show: the original Esprit made its public debut there more than half a century ago.
The company is returning in 2026, although it has yet to confirm precisely which vehicles or concepts will headline its display.
Maserati

Maserati will use Paris to signal a new design direction.
A fresh concept is intended to establish themes that will influence future production vehicles as the Italian manufacturer prepares new SUV and sports-car programs.
With Maserati attempting to reposition itself after a difficult period, its Paris concept could prove one of the show’s more significant design debuts.
Mercedes

Mercedes-Benz will have one of the broadest new-model displays in Paris as its major product renewal gathers pace.
Confirmed show premieres include the CLA, VLE and new-generation GLC, GLB and GLA, alongside the electric AMG GT four-door performance flagship.
Mercedes-AMG’s recently unveiled V8-powered CLE 646 Spezialanfertigung also gives the brand something considerably less restrained to display alongside its latest EVs.
Peugeot

Peugeot will mix production machinery with forward-looking concepts.
The electric e-208 GTI demonstrates the performance potential of its existing small-car range, while concepts including Hypersquare and Polygon point towards the design and technology expected to filter into future Peugeot models.
Further concepts are also expected as the French manufacturer prepares a substantial renewal of its line-up towards the end of the decade.
Renault

Renault’s commercial-vehicle division will be particularly important in Paris.
The new Trafic E-Tech electric van will headline a six-model electric display, accompanied by commercial derivatives including chassis-cab and platform-cab configurations.
The new Trafic forms an important part of Renault’s response to an increasingly competitive electric-van market.
Skoda

Skoda’s compact Epiq EV should be one of the stars of its Paris stand as the Czech manufacturer continues filling out its electric SUV family.
At the other end of the scale is the Peaq, the largest model Skoda has produced and another major addition to its growing battery-electric portfolio.
Together, the two vehicles demonstrate just how quickly Skoda’s EV range is expanding beyond the established Enyaq and Elroq.
Smart

Smart is returning to the idea that originally made its name: a tiny two-seat city car.
The new #2 is effectively the successor to the ForTwo and represents a major change of direction after Smart expanded into substantially larger crossovers and SUVs.
It remains fully electric but returns the brand to the compact dimensions and urban focus that distinguished the original Smart.
Subaru

Subaru is confirmed as a Paris exhibitor, although its show program remains unclear.
A new petrol-powered WRX STI is under development, but Paris may instead concentrate on models more closely aligned with Subaru’s relatively small European operation and its increasing emphasis on electrification.
Vauxhall

The Astra GSE Line will be among Vauxhall’s new products on display, bringing sportier presentation to a range available with petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric power.
A more powerful GSE performance version is expected later.
Vauxhall will also display a concept intended to introduce design and technology features destined for upcoming production models.
Volkswagen

Volkswagen’s Mission Efficiency concept is expected to make another appearance after being shown privately earlier in the year.
More interestingly, Volkswagen has indicated that public reaction could influence whether the highly efficient electric concept eventually progresses to production.
With affordable and efficient EVs emerging as one of the show’s major themes, Paris should provide an appropriate testing ground for the idea.
Volvo

Volvo’s EX60 will be the centrepiece of the Swedish manufacturer’s Paris presence.
The electric SUV is an important addition to Volvo’s next generation of battery-powered vehicles and will appear alongside other new models, details of which are expected to emerge closer to the show.
With everything from an electric Citroen 2CV and Smart city car to high-performance Mercedes-AMG machinery and an expanding selection of Chinese EVs, Paris 2026 is shaping up as one of the industry’s more varied motor shows of recent years.
This year’s Paris Motor Show will be held from October 13 to October 18, 2026.
