Three-time Formula One world champion, Sebastian Vettel, has jumped behind the wheel of an outrageous, F1-inspired version of Renault’s Twizy, the French maker’s quirky, new electric city vehicle.
Earlier this year, Renault Sport F1, engine supplier to the Red Bull (Vettel’s team), Lotus, Williams and Caterham grand prix teams, produced theTwizy Renault Sport F1.
Sitting on slick racing tyres, the tiny single-seater is fitted with F1-inspired aero aids including a front splitter, side-pods, rear wing and diffuser.
After a few ‘laps’ around Renault’s Ile Seguin factory in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris, Vettel said, “I particularly enjoyed driving theTwizy Renault Sport F1, a really fun machine.”
