Toyota Motorsport gallery museum garage historic racing

Tucked away under the main wind tunnel in the bowels of Toyota Motorsport’s giant Cologne headquarters is an Aladdin’s cave filled with treasure.

There are no gems, gold bars or magic lamps to be found here, simply evidence of the Japanese firm’s long history in motorsport.

Endurance racers, Formula One cars, one-off performance road cars and, of course, a legion of rally cars make up the collection, often still stonechipped and dirty and all the better for it.

I won’t hold your attention any longer; flick through the accompanying gallery and let us know your pick in the comments below.
