Hyundai has recalled a total of 2404 examples of the 2014 to 2016 Sonata due to a potential issue with the vehicle’s indicators.
According to a recall notice published by the Department of Infrastructure, a software issue with the Smart Junction Box could activate the turn signals in the opposite direction to what the driver intended.
Hyundai will contact affected owners, but the company can be contacted directly by calling 1800 186 306 or visiting a dealership, found here.
