Mitsubishi has recalled a total of 102,616 examples of the 2015-2019 Triton due to a potential issue with the genuine towbar harness.

According to a recall notice published by the Department of Infrastructure, liquid could come into contact with the wiring and “may cause the harness and its surrounds to overheat, burn or catch fire."

Mitsubishi will contact affected owners, but the company can be contacted directly by calling 1300 131 211 or visiting a dealership, found here.
