Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled a total of 10 examples of the 2020-2021 Mercedes-Benz A250e due to a potential issue with the car’s high-voltage battery housing.
According to the recall notice published by the Department of Infrastructure, a manufacturing defect could allow moisture to enter the battery, increasing the risk of an electrical fire.
Mercedes-Benz will contact affected owners, but the company can be contacted directly by calling 1300 300 896 or visiting a dealership, found here.
