Volkswagen is recalling more than 600 examples of its T-Roc, Golf, Passat, Tiguan and Arteon models over a possible fire risk.
The issue affects 608 MY21 and MY22 cars across all the models.

Due to manufacturing issue, the engine compartment cover may become loose, and if that happens, the engine cover may move and touch the turbocharger resulting in smouldering damage or an engine bay fire.

Owners should contact their preferred VW dealer to arrange to have their vehicle repaired free of charge, or alternatively can call the firm on 1800 504 076 or email on [email protected]
