It will bring Bugatti within fingertip reach of mere mortals – quite literally, because the Vision Gran Turismo Concept is headed for the gaming world.
For any of the 450 total Bugatti Veyron buyers who could afford the million-dollar-plus hypercar, the Vision Gran Turismo more importantly showcases the future design language of the VW-owned brand. What you see here may even translate to the Bugatti Chiron that is rumoured to cost A$3.5m (so those Veyron buyers better dig deeper).

There are many Veyron styling identifiers, such as the backward-C sweep around the cockpit and that frowning nose. In case you’re wondering how many virtual cylinders the Vision Gran Turismo has, it’s sixteen, plus four turbochargers as identified by the same 16.4 engine plaque attached on the decade-old production Bugatti hypercar.

There’s no shortage of carbonfibre on the outside, or blue suede trim on the inside.
Bugatti insists that the styling elements seen here will be lifted from the world of Playstation enthusiasts to car buyers with pockets that run far deeper than an $89.95 game.

“Bugatti’s design DNA has reached a new stage of its evolution,” added Achim Anscheidt, head of Bugatti design.
