Demand for Ford's final Falcon Sprint models has been huge, with only a handful of cars believed to remain unsold.

However, if you're prepared to pay a little over the odds, here's your opportunity to secure XR8 Sprint No. 001 and help out a good cause at the same time.

Ford has donated the first production XR8 Sprint to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, which is auctioning the car to fund research into the treatment of type 1 diabetes.
