Honda is to enter a trio of electrifed supercars in this year’s 100th running of the iconic Pikes Peak hillclimb.

A pair of NSX will be joined by an NSX-inspired all-electric prototype, which will use an evolution of the electric powertrain that won last year’s Exhibition class installed in a Honda CR-Z prototype.

His brother, NSX powertrain engineer James Robinson, will pilot the car in Time Attack 1, which will benefit from a lightened chassis and high-flow racing exhaust. Both Robinsons have extensive Pikes Peak experience.
