Ah, those Hoonigan boys. Where other people see bland social landscapes, like abandoned shopping malls, they see playgrounds.

Playgrounds for what, exactly? Well, in their latest instalment Hoonigan’s unleashed two rabid Nissans upon Los Angeles’ empty Hawthorne Mall, which was abandoned in 1999.

So instead of frothing bargain hunters swarming the mall’s stores, here its desolate dusty halls are filled with the spectacular sound, and smoke, of two 370Zs that brandish up to 745kW from nitrous fed V8s.

Drifting pros Ryan Tuerck and Chris Forsberg were given the job of dodging all those pylons, and prove Yanks can seriously wield a wheel.

The stunt ties in with America’s Black Friday, a nation-wide shopping event that begins with the day after Thanksgiving this week.

However this is the most action you’ll see in a mall all year, or at least until this year's Boxing Day sales.
