Hyundai reveals bus-based solution for remote teams

Hyundai feels it has the solution for teams that work remotely, unveiling the Universe Mobile Office – albeit for Korea only at this stage.

With remote working on the rise, and increasing needs for flexibility, Hyundai developed the Universe Mobile Office “by thinking of the bus as a smart mobility solution, not just as a means of transportation.”

Based on Hyundai's existing Universe coach, the bus will offer teams an environment that resembles the traditional office by offering individual work spaces, along with areas fore and aft for more open and collaborative working. The space at the front of the vehicle boasts video conferencing facilities, a foldable conference table, sofa seating and more storage.

The solo work areas treat occupants with reclining seats, tables, charging pads and personal storage for those additional items people use to personalise their space.

The Universe Mobile Office will be available in Korea only as a 10-seater, 13-seater with front collaboration space, 13-seater with extended office space and finally a 13-seater with other configurations to suit.
