Car manufacturers haven’t disappointed in the final months of autumn, bringing us 15 new model variants including the hotly anticipated, last-of-its-kind Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo Sprint and XR8 Sprint. Porsche bring us the go-faster Macan GTS to slot in-between the existing Macan S and Macan Turbo and Lamborghini ready their drop-top Huracan.

Suzuki’s new compact SUV was a bit of a surprise when it landed late last year, showing promising pose and handling, albeit with a 1.6-litre mill that did little to stretch the Vitara’s neatly tuned chassis. Never fear, a new 100kW-plus 1.4-litre turbo will soon join the range, replacing one of the more richly equipped models in the Suzuki Vitara line-up.
