UNLESS you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of months, you’ve probably heard that Wheels has been undergoing a major reinvention – our first in over 13 years.

Well, the wait is finally over, and our new-look magazine has hit shelves around the country. It’s also on its way to the mailboxes of our loyal subscribers.

Kicking off the issue is our new look news section which is now called ‘30 Days – the stories you need to know this month’. This time around that means a deep dive on the reborn Toyota Supra, and finding out what makes the Aston Martin Valkyrie’s Cosworth V12 one of the greatest naturally aspirated engines ever made.

A brand new section follows, dubbed ‘Overrun’, which includes a chat with the most successful man to race at Le Mans, and a look back at what made the BMW E46 M3 CSL a modern classic.

Car of the Year 2019 has been run and won, and we have over 67 pages of coverage from the biggest and most prestigious motoring award in the country.

We also sent our Deputy Editor, Andy Enright, to the French Alps in a Peugeot 508 to drive, and ride, a famous stage from the Tour de France. He may have slipped on some Lycra. Apologies.

If you’re a Wheels Subscriber, this next bit is important for you. To ensure the winner of COTY was kept a secret until our official announcement last night, your copy will be posted a few days later than normal.

Happily, we have a solution. To ensure that subscribers can access the magazine before anyone else, we are giving you a unique code to download a digital copy free of charge.

Your code can be redeemed on Apple and Android devices, which will ensure you still get your Wheels fix while you wait for your paper copy to arrive.

Make sure to check your email for the unique code, and we hope you enjoy the new-look Wheels.
