Toyota has built a GT4 racing version of its hugely successful 86 coupe.
The stripped-out racer is powered by a 300kW 2.0-litre turbo four, developed especially by Nicholson McLaren Engines.
Although not an official factory effort, the car does have the blessing and technical support of the Japanese manufacturer.
Testing is scheduled to take place later this month in the United Kingdom, with Toyota keen to prove the 86 is a winner on the track as well as the road.
