Electric vehicle maker VinFast is set to bolster its North American portfolio as it gears up to launch three new models next month.
Having already launched two vehicles at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show last month, the Vietnamese manufacturer is already looking forwards to the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas to reveal three more models in January.
VinFast has confirmed it will show off vehicles in the minicar, subcompact and compact segments, all of which are expected to drop below the size of the VF e35 and e36 SUVs.

Design houses Pininfarina and Torino Design are confirmed to be involved with all models shown at CES 2022, with Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup Thuy Le saying the brand’s cars are a step towards an environmentally friendly future.
“VinFast will bring high-standard designs, advanced technologies and a wide range of products to global consumers at CES 2022,” said Le.
“We contribute our best products to offer more convenient and accessible options for the public to transition to EVs and create a more sustainable future for our planet.”
It’s still unclear as to whether we’ll ever see VinFast sell its vehicles in Australia after the manufacturer’s local research and development team was laid off earlier this year, putting the former Holden proving grounds at Lang Lang up for sale in the process.
